How To “ChaCha”: Send a Text Message to 242242 (ChaCha) and ask ANY Question
Your text message will then be forwarded to an actual person with an expertise related to what you are asking. After about 3-5 minutes you will receive a text message with an answer, a link to the source, and info about the “ChaCha Guide” who answered your question.
Types of Questions you might ask:
“Where is there a nice Mexican restaurant in Louisville Ky?”
“What is the worlds largest church?”
“How much do the new smart cars cost?”
“Where could I find a nice pair of sheep skin flip flops?
“Who is Aaron Marshall of Louisville?”
For now this service is free, and eventually they will somehow advertise through it… In the mean time enjoy!
What Benefit (if any) Does ChaCha have for Church and Ministry?
I am having a hard time in seeing how this applies to church and ministries learning social media, but this new service is just too interesting, and incredibly useful for day to day life. If you have any ideas on how it can used, be sure to comment.

Thanks for the write-up! Could you use ChaCha’s text answers service to learn about bible passages that apply to everyday life experiences?
Another idea – with ChaCha YOU NEVER HAVE TO LOOK AT THE PORN AND SPAM SITES. ChaCha will give you THE ANSWER.

This is probably not exactly what you had in mind, but I sometimes use ChaCha during church. My ten-year old cousin often comes to me immediately prior to the service and requests that I ask ChaCha what the final score of the ____ game was last night. So I text ChaCha his question, we sing an opening hymn, and ba-da-boom, by song’s end, we have our Answer — and Jordan’s curiosity is satiated.
I guess you could say that ChaCha can put one’s mind at peace by eliminating distractions and looming curiosities… therefore allowing one to focus more fully during worship.
Hannah, thats great! I also see it as a tool to end those pesky arguments with my friends. Shoot, ChaCha just might make me money on some informal betting!

I have tried Cha Cha and find it to be a useful tool for satiating my curiosity. The only issue I have with Cha Cha is running out of questions.
Also during the sermon one could use Cha Cha to help find a verse, use it like a concordance.
One the most basic goals of a Church is helping others. By supporting ChaCha.com you are helping those humans answering questions support themselves. Besides humans understand human subjective questions far better then a computer code can…for now. *winks*
Hehe, I like your answer Lucinda, Matter of fact it has inspired me to help the people out at Cha Cha. I want them to think about how much they love the special things in their life and hope that it might take them away from they’re work (they’re probably at work) so here it goes. …Texting to 242242: “What is the most important thing in my life?”
Holy **** man they gave a really good answer “The honest love, affection, and loyalty of your mate.”
Man that was pretty good, Cha Cha actually reversed the roles on me. So the conclusion is, whenever you feel down in service, just ask Cha Cha for the answer and they will be sure to perk you up.

church media guys (like me) could use it to ask “where can i get a military themed looping video background for media shout/pro presenter?”
being an associate pastor, my initial thought was to ask about demographics in my community.
what percentage of population are regular attenders?
what’s the divorce rate in my area?
how many single parent homes?
will i get a pay raise at the next annual business meeting?
to name a few.
Seek and you shall find.
Ask and you shall receive.
